Practical, trusted geospatial information
Land Sensing Geospatial Analytics (LSGA) is a geospatial analytics consultancy. We turn satellite imagery and field data into verified information for development agencies, governments, NGOs and the private sector.
Today we work as consultants. Through each project, we are building the methods and datasets for our first data products.
Registered in Afghanistan, providing verified regional geospatial analytics across Central and South Asia.
Where we work
We work where data is scarce, access is difficult, and decisions still have to be made. This includes fragile and conflict-affected countries such as Afghanistan and Ukraine. It also includes drylands under restoration, mountain basins exposed to drought and floods, and farming landscapes that change faster than the records that describe them.
Outside our core region, we deliver projects together with local partners.

Every map is checked against our own field data, not assumed from space.

Our models are trained on labelled data from the landscapes we work in: irrigated valleys, rangelands, drylands and mountains.

Multidisciplinary geospatial leadership
LSGA is led by Abdul Ghayoor Shokory, a specialist in geospatial data analysis and data science. Our core team works with an active network of specialists in remote sensing, GIS, machine learning and field surveys, brought together for each project.
